Recently Fabletics clothing and The Council of Fashion Designers of America teamed up to stamp out the epidemic of breast cancers. Together the two have joined Fashion Targets Breast Cancer. The campaign is based out of the United Kingdom and works to raise funds for cancer research. They incorporate those in the fashion industry to work together to create avenues to raise those funds. Kate Hudson is the face of Fabletics, and for the month of October, she is designated to be the face of Fashion Targets Breast Cancer. She jumped at the opportunity to represent the organization and to do more to help eradicate breast cancer. She has in the past dedicated a great deal of time to support cancer research and development. On September 28, Fabletics debuted an outfit that was dedicated to the cause. This goes hand in hand with the fact that October is breast cancer awareness month. The outfit is a 3 piece capris, a tank set, and a sports bra. They are set to have an event for FTBC and are going to give a portion of the sales to the FTBC programs.
Fashion Targets Breast Cancer was founded by Ralph Lauren in 1996 and has remained a strong force in the quest to find a cure and establish awareness of the disease. Kate Hudson discussed the new pieces in an interview. She stated that she was delighted to be a part of the cause and was excited to create her capsule collection from Fabletics. It is pink but a deeper hue of pink than one would normally expect. It is fun and fashionable and women everywhere will love it.
The New York Community Trust partnered with Fashion Targets Breast Cancer to offer grants for breast screenings, and treatment programs on Instagram. Special efforts are made to offer this assistance to immigrants, minorities, and low-income individuals that need assistance in fighting breast cancer.
