Ryan Seacrest’s Impressive Resume includes Film, Television, and Philanthropy

Ryan Seacrest has hosted over a dozen shows during his long, successful career. He is currently the co-host of Live, a television show, and “On Air with Ryan Seacrest,” a radio show which is syndicated all over the United States.

His career in radio began in 1995 as the host of the 1pm to 4pm slot on 98.7 FM. It wasn’t long – 2003 to be precise – until he was hosting the Radio Music Awards. The next year, in 2004, he received his own radio show. He has also been the host of “American Top 40” since 2004.

He is also an actor and voice actor, usually playing himself. He played himself in Knocked Up and Get Smart. He has performed voice over work for films such as Shrek Forever After and for television shows such as Hey Arnold and Robot Chicken.

Ryan Seacrest also hosted American Idol during the shows initial run.

Ryan Seacrest is also known for hosting ABC’s yearly New Years party called Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest. He provides interviews, entertainment, and other duties each year during the celebration.

As an entrepreneur, Seacrest founded his own production company Ryan Seacrest Productions, which has went on to produce Emmy award winning shows such as Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution. He has also invested in Civic Entertainment Group, Pinterest, and other companies.

2014 saw the launch of Ryan Seacrest’s clothing line called Ryan Seacrest Distinction, which is only available at Macy’s. The line went on to become one of Macy’s most successful men’s lines in decades.

The Ryan Seacrest Foundation was created in 2010, purposed in providing health care to children. The foundation now has nine centers in cities such as Atlanta, Philadelphia, and Boston.
